I know you are not supposed to reuse head head bolts but how about the studs? Those things are expensive.

And while I'm already making a post I want to see if anyone knows how much it'd be to sleeve and bore a block. Just a guess of course. I have no idea about machining costs. I have stock bore pistons and the piston slap drives me nuts so I want to get the block sleeeved and then bore to fit the pistons perfectly. Thanks!!!

The ARP studs are reusable, you'll never have to buy another set.

I was qouted $125 labor + cost of sleeve to sleeve cylinders at a good shop around here. That's just too damn much.

Yes but much cheaper than buying new oversize pistons AND getting the cylinders bored emoji

Is that possible though to do that? Will it still be as strong as it is now w/ no sleeves?

Ooops... I mistyped that. Thas is PER CYLINDER! The estimate was $475-$500 total for sleeving all 4 cylinders.

Yes.

Damn, if I can't find a place cheaper than that I'll just let those bitches slap until they die. I have another block anyway.
