Be more specific on "air is coming from somewhere"

The new noise you are refering to is probably air flowing into the intake. It makes a different sound. Either that or its related to your "air is coming out somewhere" problem.

well, check and make sure your tb > intake pipe is clamped tight and no air is escaping. also make sure ur air filter > intake pipe is clamped down tight so no air is escaping. emoji

turn the car on and try putting ur ear near certain parts. if ur hearing a hissing noise only near the filter then this most likely is normal. if u hear a hissing from elsewhere it could be a leak.

There is nothing in which the air can leak from. The hissing noise you are refering too is coming from the inlet of the air intake. Now that there's no silencer or airbox on, intake noise, even at idle is much more audible. -Sean

It's probably just the sound of the open element filter. The stock airbox has resonators to keep those types of noises to a minimum. Did you feel any gains, or is the car slower?
