hey, I hope someone in here can help..I just found out that my timing belt has about a 1 inch crack in it...how safe is it to drive with the biotch like this, or do I really need to replace it right away..And if I do need to replace it, can someone give me some detailed instructions on this...I know its a pain in the ass, but I don't really want to pay someone $700 to do it again. ( I just had the damn thing replaced about 9 months ago ). Thanks again everyone...Bryan

if you had it done about nine months ago, then you should have them redo it. i had mine done and it's still fine, it's been about 6 months now. besides, it's supposed to last 60k miles. i had mine done at 70k so i'm thinking whoever did yours did it wrong.
