i wanna know if someone knows what happened with my trans, yesterday i was driving to my house, then a huge sound pop from underneath the car, then the shifter goes to neutral, so i stop the car (since i was like 2 blocks away from my house im thinking that i better push the car so i dont fuck up the trans more) so i put it on neutral and start pushing, and even in neutral i can hear the gears like crashing or something, then suddenly the car stops and wont move, like it was on first, so i start the car and wont go, only in reverse, so i come home (in reverse) but on the way home, i hear like the same sound but in periods...... the car wont go forward only backwards but with huge noises coming from the trans.......

anyone knows what happened, how much it cost or something related to the problem?????? any help is highly apreciated.....

Did it happen durring a shift? You may have broken a shift fork inside the tranny. Open your hood and find where the shift cable goes to the tranny. Have somone shift through the gears with the car off and watch to see if everything is still intacted and the cables respond when they shift it.
