I looked under " Things we've seen before", but doesn't seem to be working right.

Anyways, I've had my UDP on for about 2 weeks now, and noticed that on morning start ups it idles very low now. Use to idle at 1500 rpms, and drops down to 1000rpms after a min, but now it starts up and idles around 1100 rpms and stays there. Does anyone else have this problem? and if I have less than a 1/4 tank of gas, it has a hard time turning over, it never did this before the udp. I park in a garage by the way. Thanks for looking.

1100 idle seems to be fine. Mine usually starts at 1100 and drops down to about 800-900. Heh, you should be happy that it idles lower now.

How is the weather? It's winter, so the car usually idles higher to help warm itself up.

Not sure if this will help, but how about disconnecting the battery to reset the ecu? That might do something.

oh, and for the "Things We've seen before" forum, you have to change your user menu options to let you view threads that are older then 1 month old. When you get in there you'll understand what i'm talking about.

mine has always idled around 900k. I think your's is a lil high, but still in the normal range. I wouldn't sweat it.

Maybe change your plugs/wires too...that affects idle.

Could be there is an electrical load on your car, so its idling higher to compensate for the underdrive. Do you have a stereo in the car by chance? (amps/subs) Other than that I dunno, my idle stayed perfect (750- 800) when I put my UDP on.

Thanks guys, I'll try resetting the ECU. I do have a amp and a sub, but now I don't turn it up when I leave the car idling.

i used to have this problem. i just changed my fuel filter, in tank filter and fuel pump. never happened again
