#41750, "please help"

i got my headgasket replaced, the mls put in. the mechanic gives the car back and 15 miles down the road i have a flashing check engine light. go figure.he replaced a valve, the headgasket, timing belt, and installed the UDP.my car idles terrible, the engine shakes around, and acts like its going to die, but when im driving it, it seems to run fine. any ideas? the mechanic has it right now, and said he would fix whatever he messed up for free.i just thought i could ask you guys hoping that someone has seen the same symptoms. thanks guys.

Sounds to me like he didnt get the timing exactly right. Thats a fairly common thing for shops to mess up when they are working with the timing belt. They need to make sure that after 2 revolutions of the crank that when the crank gear is at TDC the 2 timing marks on the cam gears are aligned perfectly.

hmmm... bad idle, good in higher rpms? I'm gonna say timing is off by one tooth...

...JUST BECAUSE this has been a contagious problem in these parts the past few months!

It would explain your problems, and makes sense given what was done with your car. Latez!
