anybody else get lifter tick on cold starts? i do and i have a 99 with 32 k on it. dont beat on it and run 10w30 valvoline durablend. keep in mind it has been like in the teens and 20's here in the mornings in mass. but still anyone else get this? whats a good fix?

I think almost everyone gets it when it is really cold out. The pt cruser lifters are supposed to correct the problem. Howell aumotive sells them they are like 90 bucks. hope that helped.

Yep, it was like -30 celsius here the last couple of days and my car develops the tick everytime. Goes away once the engine is warm - I think its just due to the metal expanding and shrinking - nothing to worry about, I hope
