#41623, "clutch problem??"

k i'm not sure if i'm having clutch problems but here's what's been happening. just today my car started acting up. ironically i was bein good and going in for recon inspection and it started acting up right after that. i first noticed it kinda stuttering in 3rd when i'd try to rev higher. i was driving on the freeway for awhile going home in sorta heavy traffic so i was shifiting a lot. it feels like it doesn't pick up as fast as it should. i didn't really notice the RPM's going up very much while not going anywhere though (to indicate a messed up clutch). it's morel like if i try to rev above maybe 3or4000 it just kinda stutters w/o going any higher and every so often will catch and start to pick up. i didn't really have a problem moving from a stop though. again it's more when i try to rev higher after i'm already in gear the engine kinda bogs an stutters. idle seems fine and i can rev smoothly in neutral or with the clutch pushed in. any insight would be greatly appreciated. tia!

Well im not sure if this is your problem, but when i got my car 2 years ago i had a similar occurance. I didnt feel it in first gear, but any other gear if i gave it gas under 3k, it would hesitate until i got to 3k, then it was fine. My buddy hooked it up to his computer at his shop, and it said my #2 piston was misfiring or something, because of a bad spark plug wire/spark plug. I replaced all my spark plugs and wires, and the car has been running great since, no more hesitation. Hope this helps.

hahah..your clutch is going out my man..]
my car use to do the same ...and then it got to a point where everymorning it would stumble on first gear..i would need to let it warm up ...that sometimes did it..
then
while on the freeway my car would stumble in every gear..
then..
i was on the freeway ..my engine was at 3400 rpm and im only going 60..on fifth gear..
from then on it just sliped like a beaaaach..
keep an eye on it..
hope im wrong..or maybe i hope its your clutch and not something more complicated
