Has anyone installed performance shift bushings and tell me how they make a diffrence? I ussually have a problem changing gears at full throttle when they engine twists. Will this fix this problem. Thanx

I have them. They do stiffen the plate up a bit. So it doesn't flex when shifting. I'll be checking on something else that may help with shifting, but I need to check on sizing.

machv.com sells the symborski shift kit..instead of the normal rubber bearings they are custom cut metal ones and you will notice a smoother shift when you put them in..feels like a bmw or something.. it was like 30 or 40 bucks.

i agree... the symbroski shifter mod was the best $35 or so i've spent on my car. it's one of those little inexpensive mods that increaces the "fun" factor of driving. installation is wicked easy, i did it with a friend of mine in about 30 minutes. highly reccomended mod.

i agree about the symborski shifter kit. they are solid metal bushings, not prothane or urethane which will "give" slightly when compared to metal...

my shifter clunks when im swappin gears, prolly clunks too hard, and thats why my short shifter's welds snapped and left me w/da 2peice shifta...

but ya, definately worth 35 bux if u got it....
