I just got a header off the internet for my 99 eclipse non turbo, it has a hole with threads on the inside for my o2 sensor, well it also has another thing that comes out with threads on the outside, what goes there or how do i cover the hole??????

My guess is that was used for some type of pyrometer probe.. What brand is it? That may help.

If you just want to plug the holes you can weld a patch on it. Or if you don't feel comfortable take it to a muffler shop, while it is still off the car, and ask them to patch the hole for you.

Yeah, the early 2gnts had a pulsed air injection system - I think that's what its for too. You(being a 99) should just be able to cap off that fitting with no worries. emoji
