#41055, "going from HKS Hyper to gst/tsi exhas"

I was thinking about going from my hks cat-back to just a gst/tsi exhaust. Will I see any power loss? As of now I am NA. Well please tell me what you think, also heads up if anyone would be interested in buying this exhaust/and or has a gst/tsi exhaust. Any opinions welcome.

what's the diameter of the hks piping? if it's bigger than like 2.5 you'll be losing some low end power if you're na. But I'd say that if you're planning to go turbo then keep it.

the HKS is 2.5", that's why I bought it..and yeah I am probably going to sell it as long as I can find a gst/tsi exhaust. Talk to me some more on IM if you're interested AIM screen name BMG1022. Thanks

why would you get rid of the 2.5 ? thats perfect. GST piping (correct me if i'm wrong) is the same diameter as our stock piping. The only difference is the muffler and an extra resonator. Do what you want. I was just wondering what your logic for doing that is... emoji

Well, the stock piping is 2.25", which seems plenty for a 2.0L NA. Doing it because I was hoping there was only a negligible difference in power, but much quieter...I dig hearing intake side over exhaust

I've heard that the GST exhausts drone horribly at highway speed
