Ok here's the deal... in mid August, I placed an order at howell for a walbro pump. I never recieved it, last month I called them and they said it was on back-order but walbro was making them and it should be in soon. I called again today, now 5 months after my order and they said "we never charged your card because walbro does not make a pump for the non-turbo"....so whats the deal, they have it listed on thier site for us, people on here have it, but its not for us??? WTF?? time to call the better business bureau...

Don't worry, the guy I talked to on the phone says he won't sell me just the pump... It is only if I was buying other stuff from him he would sell me the pump for the price on the Web Site.

Kinda flakey... After all the bad things I have heard about them lately, I will probibly not waste my time anymore by trying to order from them.

I just ordered my Walbro255hp w/kit from importpoweronline.com today. $105 shipped - best price I could find. They also sell JUST the pump without the kit for $85 shipped.

The problem isn't with Howell, but with Walbro - they suddenly decided to quit making the 255 pump for the NT. After some pressure from Howell and others, apparently they reversed the decision, but then flipflopped back. Howell is just riding the tide of its suppliers.
