Man everyone might rag on this one, but I have a pacesetter catback in my car, and its probably the best 140$ i have spent on my car so far... Noticeable performance gain, larger piping, sounds AMAZING in my opinion (plus even all the turbo guys from NYCCDSM agree), and priced damn good. I even like the muffler because its a good size, not amazingly ricingly huge but big enough for you to know its aftermarket. I can put up pics on what it looks like on my car if youre interested.

Not sure what your mods are or your future but I can't recommend nor talk down anything I have never tried, but for me there is no other exhaust besides Thermal. Hands down the best exhaust to me. You can't replicate the tone. Stainless steel, need I say more. Sure it's not cheap but when you love your car this much money isn't an option. emoji

Im glad I bought my exhaust. Ill get the pics up here later tonight. I got mine about a year back at www.summitracing.com for 148$ shipped to my door. Now that I look at it they have increased the price to 185$ but that is still much much better than many other catbacks out there. This is the link for the Eclipse Pacestter products sold on summitracing.com. The exhaust is at the bottom.

I have seen many peoples eclipses with other catbacks, and although they sound good I can safely say that mine sounds just as good if not better. Granted its not made of Stainless Steel, but what are the chances of your exhaust rusting through? Its 16 gauge aluminized steel which is coated black. Check it out, you cant go wrong.

BTW what was the stock exhaust made out of?

I have the greddy evo and love it. I would definately recommend it. Only drawback is tha price but i think it was worth it so thats what is important. Nice looking muffler, nice size piping, good sound(not ricey). My friends say its the best sounding exhaust theyve ever heard.

i reccommed the N1 by Apex'i, if your gonna drop your car really low, i wouldnt reccommend it, on stock springs the lowest part of the muffler is 4.5+ - inches from the ground, i love the sound, it is pretty loud tho, lol
later

i would say if u want a good sounding exhaust for a decent price i would go with a magnaflow exhaust. i think it's one the best dollar for dollar exhaust out there on the market.

N1 sucks emoji Just playin with ya chris.

I personaly hate the sound of the pacesetter. It sounds like a Honda with a coffee can. It's all raspy at high RPMS and I didn't even get the right size "U" bolts to bolt it together. On the other hand it is the cheapest 2.5in exhaust on the market and it has a stockish look to it.

I personaly wouldn't buy another Greddy exhaust because mine fell apart!! The tip almost FELL OFF. Plus the piping was all rusty.

My next exhaust will be either a RS-R or a World Sport (both gs-t models).

Oh, Don't buy ANYTHING from Busher.

Just my two cents

I've got a flowmaster muffler welded to stock piping. Sounds preety good, imo, and i get lots of compliments from people because of it. Should be about 75 bucks. Thats what i paid for mine 2 years ago. Deltaflow 40series
