hey all, i was trying to help a buddy with his cold air intake install on his 1998 eclipse RS today, and we got stuck. we had the oem air box almost completly out, but the right half would not come out even after removing the three bolts. can anyone help him out. My car is totally different, being it's a 1999 gs-t.

Where the plastic piping meets the box is where you have to pull. From what i can remember there is a built in clip that holds the box to the piping. I just pulled hard and it came off. Dont remove the plastic piping only the air box. Hope i helped, jake
