I want to get a universal magnaflow muffler. This is going to have a 2.5 inch offset inlet and a 2.5 offset outlet to match the current design of my pacesetter muffler.
Is the magnaflow a flow through design with not restriction what so ever?

When my car was being used by Magnaflow to design their latest catback, I was talking to the engineers about that. All the designs are very low restriction, but it looks like the ones you are looking at have offset input/outputs - so they aren't straight through. It's slightly more restrictive design than straight, but does much more for sound properties. I think you're making a good choice. My magnaflow cat back has a similar muffler design and I love it.

As long is it is a 2.5 inch pipe that connects the inlet/outlet. I just do not want the exhaust to flow into a chamber etc. This is a restriction that I do not need. An offset flow through design is exactly what I am looking for.
My wastegate is dumped to atomsphere anyway, which requires less tasking on my exhaust system.
thanks for the reply
