what hump are you guys talking about, I read just by removing that hump inside the tb will give you some gains is that true and what hump is it.

The bore narrows from the intake to a certain point. Then it widens again before the throttle plate. At that point, the bore is consistant all the way past the throttle plate until the outlet. You can make that narrow section as wide as the bore at the plate - that's the hump. It looks kind of like a hump when you stare down the throat. It's very difficult to see from a picture - so take off your intake piping and take a look. You can't miss it.
