which cai gives you the best gains. MY brother got iceman cai and its pretty good i was wondering if aem is better than iceman

i would think an iceman would bring in colder air because its not made of metal, but aem claims there CAI are dyno proven to give the biggest hp gain.

you wont tell the difference....AEM,Iceman, the difference is negligible so just buy whatever you prefer... I have the AEM and like it.

Well, since the AEM was metal, wouldn't it stay cooler longer and therefore bring in cooler air?

And maybe AEM's pipe making techniques make the inside smoother.. the smoother the inside is, the better the airflow.

Can't confirm any of these things, but yea, it's true in the end, the difference is nominal.

well basically yeah your just paying for the name. i got my 2nd CAI off ebay for $64 with shipping. its exactly like the AEM one except it didn't have the logo or a K&N filter with it. they have a new intake though, i think they are calling it the V2(stands for version 2,i think). it has an extra chamber around the tube to keep the air cooler.

Anything is better than stock. Look at how the stock airbox gets air (plastic tube underneath the ECU) and tell me how that thing gets any air?
