Today I started working on my old stock modular clutch to make it non-modular. I got just got it seperated today and it looks to me like this should work out well. All I need to do now is to finish removing the rivots from the flywheel, tap it, then install the new disk. I have a local guy here who is building me a slightly oversized ceramic full-faced disk for it that is quite similar to the Clutchmasters stage IV disk (same facings with nearly the same surface area) for slightly under $100. It should hold up well and perform as well or better than most of the aftermarket clutches out there. I will be gone for about 2 weeks starting the day after x-mas, so it will be awhile before the project is complete. The clutch will be going into XtremeRS's motor that should be finished by spring, so the true test will come later. Once I get it all assembled though, it will get put on a plate-load tester here in lansing, so I will have some real numbers for you guys who are interested within the next few months. Here are some pics of the progress so far.

Here is the flywheel with the clutch disk resting on it. As you can see I still need to finish removing the rivots (tomorrow).
Here is a look at how much material was left on the stock organic clutch disk after 90k miles (13000 turbo'd).

hey matt after u get back id like to talk with ya, dan at the shop, is hard to get ahold of and he wanted me to send him my clutch i think maybe if u brought it by and showed him he could test it and fab up us a new pressure plate above stock because he hasn't had one to test yet....
also test the weight of that drive plate/flywheel and see what it sits at..
i hope i can get in touch with dan and get the finishing touches on these clutch kits very soon =)
