I ordered mine along with my Torque convertor (3,000 RPM) today. emoji But was pissed to find out there is no Phantom grip for my automatic yet, per Gary. emoji oh well

Here is what I have have.
JE 8:8.1 with rings boared .20 over
Seinze custom rods (600+hp)
Knife edged and shaved crank
Clevite bearings
Shaved oil pump to bump up oil preasure
Stage 3 ported and pollished head
twin Accel coil packs
PT lashers

The only way to go wth the auto is NOS or Turbo. No other mods give us enough of an edge. Can the stock tranny handle the boost though???

A bunch of the guys here are boosted autos. Only one I can think of right now is Corbin's. They don't seem to be having tranny trouble. I'm guessing we would want to stay way from turbo lag with our transmissions. Smaller turbos, lower PSis- it's better than no boost at all.

i wouldnt go above 10psi on an auto ... but a level 10 tranny probably can with hold 20psi ... this is the full level 10 auto .. but with tq converter and clutch upgrades .. ($1100) you could safely withstand the full pressure of a star stage2

I have heard of one crazy fool who was boostin 21 psi with an auto. emoji
Never had a problem with his tranny except when the little Plug connection came off.
