I was looking around the local recycling yards for a head to send to Ed Hale for a complete port and polish and upgraded valve train to replace my mildly ported head and I was suprised to find that they are not hard to come by at all. I've found a total of three confirmed "complete" heads with cams and all for 300.00 flat. Well I bought one of them and sent it to the machine shop .. and if any of you are interested in another.. I'll post the phone number of the yard as soon as I find that slip of paper I wrote them down on.

My point in getting the other head was to go all out race with it and won't be very streetable. I'm keeping my current head to swap back in between races at the track. You might think that it's expensive to do so.. but around here they only charge between 150 - 200 to swap heads in a car and the races in palmdale are six months apart.
