ok, i have done alot of searching and reading about porting and polishing tb's and intake manifolds. one thing everyone says is if you bore out your tb even a lil bit you have to get a new butterfly valve to match the opening, is this true?? they say it will mess up your car, how tho?? i dont want to port alot right now, mostly polish the tb, but p&p the intake manifold. i just dont have the $$ right now for a bigger tb. any help will be appreciated! thanks

I beleive that our tb butterfly's are actually bigger than they need to be. thats why it isn't straight up and down when fully closed. so i think you could port your tb slightly without gettin a new valve. anyone else?

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

if your gonna port your TB just open up the manifold side but don't do anything to the spot where the buttfly seals.

yea what juggalo said ^ jsut port your manifold find a jeep 60mm tb for like 20-30$ at junk yard and match opening o that throttle body bro!! simple man

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
