People have used the GS-T exhaust but what about the exhaust for the new V-6, would that be ok to just weld onto the piping or is it too big? If it is could you use the 2.4L muffler instead? Just searching for more options!! TIA Brent

I have never thought about the 2000+ eclipse muffler on our cars, but I bet just about any muffler could be welded onto the existing piping. The advantage of the GST muffler is that it is a bolt on and can be done in about 15 minutes with an air wrench and a decent lift.

i havent ever heard a stock GST muffler but i know the mufflers on the new v6's sound pretty awesome. a guy here has one and sounds pretty damn good. im sure you could. i doubt it matters a whole lot about what liter it is except for piping diameter, but it probably wouldent be some crazy off the wall size, try it.
