Ok haha I'm finally gonna go buy em cuz the rebuild is gonna start soon. Now what kinda bearing do I need for the rebuild? Just main bearings or I do I need main and rod bearings? Which one goes where I already have the bearing that go on the wrist pins that go on the pistons I know I need new mains but do I need rod bearings too?
Also at import performance's website they have the rod bearings listed as this RBC26 $30.00 (.002 over O/D)
is that the one I'd need? What does .002 over O/D mean?

I thought with a 95 you need 2 top halves of the main bearing cause of the groove in the 95s vs all others and you throw out the bottom halves on all the bearings
and the .002 over is if you need to rework/mill down the bearing seats (prob not the right word but)

yes, you will need two sets of top half bearings

grab some clevite bearings main and rod bearsing .002 over means that they are oversized for crank turning aka cutting down smoothing out..
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

ok so the rod bearings are the big ones on the rod and the main bearings are for the crank on the block correct?
So I should buy new rod bearings also? Should I request stock sized rod bearings, I'm pretty sure mine are in good condition won't know till I open it up though. So the .002 O/D means the bearings are bigger cuz the crank had to be shaved or something to get rid of scratches like when you spin a bearing?
My rods do have bearings on them, I got them from Speedracer21 but he said the clevite bearings weren't good, and showed me the scratches on the bearings.
And yes I know 95 have some funky setup, importperformance has a special set for 95s only I'm ordering that set. (Main Bearing set for 95 420A lock tabs all left)
Would it help if I posted a picture of what I'm talking about?
This is a Rod Bearing I'm guessing? That's a wrist pin right? And I don't have a pic of what I think a main bearing is but it's the thing that the crank spins on between the crank and the block.
haha sorry I'm a beginner at this engine building stuff, but it's about time I took care of this weak engine issue

well as you can see I have the total seals on those right now I they came with the pistons so I'm gonna just go ahead and use though, hehe I heard you get some good compression with these
But yes I am building it myself that's why I'm asking all these goofy questions O_o so assuming my crankshaft is fine I should just ask for stock sized non .002 O/D sides rod bearings? The rod you see there has clevite bearings and they got little scratches and pits in em I have heard from some people these are not very good bearings but who knows maybe they're good but I'm ordering from that import performance site because I have the special 95 engine haha.

hades before u install those contact the shop u got them from or somone that has used them before and get break in procedures other wise your rings will be seated weird and your car will smoke blue all the time... total seals are notorius for that if broke in wrong... great product when it is fully functional.
