#39049, "pacesetter exhaust question"

i have the 2.5 inch pacesetter exhasut system, and i think the muffler just looks nasty. well i guess its not so much the muffler, but the tip, its chrome on the outside and yellow on inside, well now its black and yellow. i like the sound of the exhaust alot, so i dont want to get a whole new muffler. so, would it be possible to cut off the tip and weld on another one? if so any suggestions? tia.

u mean fluttering at idle? i think its pretty quiet while driving. maybe its sounds different NA. but i will bring to muffler shop to weld a new tip, not doin it myself. i thought while i was getting my shifter shortned why not chop off the muffler tip?

I'm not running a tip at all. I had to hack that thing off!

It sounds like a honda if your car is still NA. I kinda like the fact everyone thinks it's stock tho.

would cost give or take 30$ ata muffler shop fora tip of your choice put on...

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
