My friend and i have been talking about turbo's for a while and he said to me tonight, why don't you go get the factory turbo off a gst/gsx and put it on. Could i just buy a factory turbo and intercooler and slap it on? What else do i need? Because the Hahn stage 2 is so damn expensive for my 5.25 an hour.

Sorry. No can do.

That's why they're so expensive. If you don't know much about turbo systems though, it's a good deal. Both HRC and Star offer good bolt-on turbo systems designed specifically for our car. If you want to save money, then you could build a custom system...but it's best that you know alot about turbo system design before you jump into a custom system. You could use some parts from the GS-T - like the turbo for instance...maybe even the fuel pump. But the exhaust manifolds and practically everything else about the motors(beside the fact that they're both 2.0L) are different. You have a Dodge motor - the GS-T has a Mitsubishi motor. Different block. Different head. Different orientation in the bay. Different. Its like a Ford/Chevy mix - they like to piss on each other with Calvin.

We got another one fellas........Ok if u just get the turbo u will HAVE to get an exhaust manafold made because the turbo cars have completely different motors than us. Yes u can use the stock intercoler. Just to keep this short, go look in (things we have seen before). lots of stuff about putting stock turbos on a non-turbo. Yes it can be done but it will most likly cost more than buying a HRC kit.

will post more pics when front is painted
