#3891, "O2 Voltage wire off of ECU?????"

I am getting an A/F meter from Corbin (Thank again) and I'll need to tap the ECU for power, ground and O2 voltage. I have a 97 any body know what pin position and wire color for 97s? If you know it's easier than me pulling out the book anmd looking myself. Thanks

LAST EDITED ON 22-Jun-01 AT 11:16 AM (PST)

white wire black stripe for the O2. I don't know the exact pin number but you should be able to find it. I tapped my cigarette lighter for power and ground. But if you're wondering the power on the ecu is the oversized black wire with white stripe on the upper connector and the ground is all black on the upper connector. Now all you need is your afc. Then it's happy tuning time.

Yeah, I can't wait to get it all hooked up. I'll probably hook my A/F Meter up to the cigarette lighter too. But I'll need the power wire for the S-AFC anyway.

Thura, how did you tap into the CU wires? I can think of a few ways to do it, I'm just crious what others are doing?

When you install the AFC checkout wyatt's site (www.turbogs.com) in the tech section. He's got the install faq plus the wiring diagram. The AFC manual doesn't have a wiring diaggram specifically for our cars, but for the sensor type. Wyatts page will help alot.

Well, I custom fit an apexi silencer in it. With it in it's not too bad. Loud but bearable. Without it ... it's a beast. It is LOUD. between 3k-4k rpms it's not bearable to anyone but me (that's why I put the silencer in ... going on dates didn't work too well ... it's out now cuz well no dates). Personally I love it still regardless of how loud it is, it's really intimidating. Unfortunately it came with a heafty price tag ($600).
