#3871, "Oxygen sensor ?"

I have a 95 2gnt Eclipse, and I need to replace both O2 sensors. I have quotes from dealers for decent prices (each over $100), but I found that NOPI has OEM replacements for $40 each. Has anyone used these? What are the differences b/w these and the dealer O2 Sensors? Any advice is appreciated!

O2 sensors are all oem, i've never found one that was aftermarket for our cars, so looks like the dealer is givin you a hell of a mark up, i can get the upstream (manifold) one for 80 and downstream (cat) for like 150. i would go for the 40 dollar one you found and you don't have much of a chioce with the other one. there rarely replaced

o2 sensors are NOT all OEM. I got a Bosch downstream o2 sensor for only 80 bucks at Autozone (part # for our cars, not the turbos), and it plugged in and everything. BUT the wiring was a bit too short to reach all the way to the exhaust piping, so I had to return it. Just stick with OEM to be safe. The downstream is about 125 from Norco Mitsu with club dsm discount (talk to Paul). I think upstream is a bit cheaper, but I'm not positive.

OK so obviously yet more reasons to move out of damn NC. I paid 210 for the upstream and they want 180 for the downstream at Sunrise Mitsu in Raleigh. Anyone have a dealer close by that will do mail orders?? You guys are getting them way cheaper....

Call Norco mistu, talk to Paul and ask for club dsm discount. They WILL ship it for only around ten bucks. Their number is on the main http://www.2gnt.com page under vendors.
