I'm thinking of installing an oil cooler and the most convenient way I can think of is to put it inline w/ my turbo feed line. Does anyone see any problems with that?

If you do it inline with your turbo feed then you're not cooling the whole system. Your missing all of the oil thats getting shot up to the head - which is more(I think) then gets to the turbo. It would be much more effecient if you installed a sandwitch adapter at the oil filter. You can get Perma-Cool oil cooler kits for a Neon, so at the very least they have an adapter that should work for us.

Yeah I know it's not the best way but I can get that cooler for $35. I don't want to spend a ton and I just figured it'd help a little. Plus won't all the oil eventually pass through the cooler?

beats me but isn't the turbo oil feed line really skinny. Look at the hoses on my oil cooler and look at the hoses on the turbo wahaha big difference. So if you want to get a little itty bitty oil cooler for you turbo you can do it but your not getting no big one.

Who sez FF can't drift?

The one I want to get has -6AN in/out. My oil line is -4AN so that shouldn't be too big of a difference. It's only a two row cooler and says it's for turbos.

cool go for it and post pix best places I suggest to mount it is on the side scoops on the bumper or the mouth, but if you have a FMIC like me it's not an option unless yours is pretty skinny.

Yeah I'll get pics but it's going to be a while. I'm putting my car up for the winter and doing a bunch of stuff. I was thinking of putting it where my turn signal was. Thanks for the input all.
