okay so i have a rs and i'm getting a apex n1 3" catback..okay so what should i get for a test pipe and how will i go from a 3" exhaust to a 2.25" downpipe? i'll be putting a turbo on in the spring..

You could buy a 2.25" testpipe because most 3" catback will come with a transition or adapter piece (2.25"-3") that will allow you to bolt it to a stock exhaust.

so if it comes with an adapter for 2.25"-3" couldnt i just put that on the test pipe-downpipe connection? i want to get 3" straight from front to back

No, because the cat-conv. flange is not aligned--the flange on downpipe end is turned--unless, you buy a straight pipe with a swivel flange.

You could probably get away with the 2.5 inch testpipe.

I have the 2.5 inch on mine with the stock downpipe GS-T catback(2.25). It fits ok. The 2.5 will fit to the stock downpipe, just not sure about the 3 inch catback.

the 3" catback is meant for the gst right? or is the gst 2.5"? in n1 catbacks

metaljim where did u get ur test pipe from? if it's from testpipes.com then did u go with the turbo one or normal one?
