Well First of all i ripped off my oil pan the otherday and all my oil got drained out of my engine and now my engine is all messed up..i have a 95 gs..it's makin all sorts of wierd noises whenever the car is on ..i brought it to my mechanic and he said i'm going to need to get a new engine in there and gave me a price quote of 4700$ for a rebuilt engine / another tranny (cuz mine makes a lil bit of noise but still shifts fine) / clutch / 2 front axles...my first question is that a good price for all that?...also my second question is is it possible to change the 420a and just go to a rebuilt gst engine with turbo easily...what would i be lookin at to make my car into a 'gst' in theory..is it alot involved?..what would be needed...and if you guys have any prices if anyone has ever done it..please reply..thanks

you'd need the complete engine, basically every thing in the engine bay including tranny, axles, radiator, engine mounts(it would take alot of cutting and welding to get the engine to mount), gauge cluster, fuel pump? ecu, downpipe, intercooler, just about every thing except the interior(except gauges) and fame.

that is a very high price. is it from satan? the 4g63 will be just as high considering all the fabrication. what was his reasoning for saying it needed a new engine(what failure occured)
