O.K.......this might just be the painkillers that I'm on doing the thinking for me (fractured rib :o )but, Do you think it is possible for the cold air coming into my C.A.I. to be too cold, and potentially bad for my engine? I live in Chicago, and the temp already got down into the teens here last night....and just gets worse until March or so. I was thinking about switching my intake back to stock for the winter, but don't know if it would really be necessary. Hmmmmmm...... What do you think?

Im in chicago too and I remove the CAI extension, not because its too cold (I dont think you can have intake air thats too cold) but I remove it because snow will usually fill the front bumper of mine and I dont want it to freeze all around the filter etc.. My car is like a snow plow in the winter and I collect lost o snow in the front grill
