Im wanting to buy a TSI talon..and i was wondering if it would be possible to do a 4g63 motor swap with a non turbo Dohc Talon..so my question..will the 1st gen 4g63 bolt right up to a non turbo 1st gen chassis ..i know the 2nd gens turbo and non turbo are turned around backwards..if the 1gen 4g63 will bolt right up to the non turbo chassis..is there any parts/mods i will have to do..or will everything intertwine,

Dude if you have the 2L, you have a 4G63. I'm not a 1G expert by any means, but if you have the 2L then the differences are the exhaust manifold and downpipe, higher compression pistons, cams, ecu and whatnot. You might not need a whole new motor.

Just get the new motor MUCH easier. Yes you can swap in the turbo engine. You will need an ECU, IC pipes, SMIC, downpipe, and a turbo engine w/ exhaust manifold, turbo, TB, etc..

you might as well sell your car all that stuff might cost as much as a TSi. Haha man I sound like a buncha 4G guys
