Okay, all the quad TB manifolds I have seen have been straight shots out the head. Now is there a reason behind this or is it ok to have a bend in the runners? Looking at the room that we have to work with it looks to be very difficult to have straight runners and even with just looks to be such a tight squeeze that it would sit against the firewall. So any thoughts?

The quad TB setup is designed for high end completely, and straight, short runners help that cause that much more. Im sure you could engineer one to turn upwards, and it wouldnt be a problem. Just that if you opt for such a setup, you would most likely be trying to tune for high end thus the straight runners on most.

use the lower manifold, and port the shit outta it... weld up your t/bs, and throw a box on top of em... cut a hole in your hood, and route sum material into the box, thru a filter, right into your t/b setup.....

straight runners is 1 shortest distance from a-b isa straiht line and second is the ease of building something straight instead of curved...
bend is find u could grab some mandrel aluminum pip bends have a tig welder weld them to the stock flange(after u cut it from the stock manifold) and then make custom couples for the motorcycle throttle bodies...
if u need help or anything on this setupd talk to the dog himself blackdogmotorsport.com hes done quite a few and has his own manifold setup...
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

you can also hack away at the firewall if you need some more space just a thought. I see a lotta toyota guys do it to their AE86. Hehe the 2GNT will always be better with turbocharging hehe. But Vegasdsmr idea sound pretty. Haha make sure you got filters on those suckas. The neons it's looks nice cuz its in the front haha for us the turbo looks nice cuz it's in ther front
