I searched but found nothing. My car is overheating and I've tried everything. I flushed the coolant during the summer and changed the thermostat, still overheats. I'm gonna try the 2 fan mod, but I can't find it anywhere on here. Someone help me out. TIA

Don't they make kits for it?

My dad's VW hippie pimp van emoji , used to over heat, and we installed a secondary fan, that was controlled by a toggle switch by the user, when needed or wanted.

I can look that up when I get home, if you want me to.

Are you sure its the ENGINE thats over heating?
Did you see if the thermostat, temperature sensor, temperature switch, etc. etc. are functioning properly?
Could there be a leak in your coolant lines? (Check for the leaks)

Do you get a CEL code? Did you try resetting the ECU?

I hope that helped..

Look at the driver's side fan connection. You will see a blue wire and a black wire. Splice into those and run it to the passenger side connector. I think there are 4 wires in that one but just splice into the blue wire and the black wire on that side. So blue to blue and black to black. Now they will both come on when the first one does. Be sure to use atleast 10 gauge wire because the second fan is actually getting power from the first now.

if your cars overheating, make sure you have a 50/50 antifreeze water mix, check your radiator for leaks, and check to make sure your a/c condenser isn't bent up(high pressure car washes will do this) blocking air flow to your radiator.
