#37421, "Oil leak........... Help.............."

Today after work I got out of my car and noticed a good size puddle of oil on my driveway , I open the hood and a load of smoke flys out so I took it to my friends shop, we left the engine running and saw smoke just pouring out of the valve cover, I just put new vavle seals, plugs and plug wires on sat. and oil is still leaking out from the valve cover. Also I have a water leak and my anti-freeze is leaking. What do I need to do? My Turbo kit should be coming in around Dec 5th or 10th I need to get this problem fixed before I put the kit on. Please help .

obviously if you just changed the valve cover gasket/spark o-rings, and its leaking from that place, THEN you didn't do it right.

look in obvious spots for coolant leak, hoses, pump, blah blah blah. it should be obvious, if not, then go get it pressure tested.

You probably didn't torque it all down evenly in the steps described in the overhaul guide. Valve covers are very picky, mine leaks like a sumbitch in 2 and 3, but i have a few messed up threads...

Get a torque wrench and that manual, you have to tighten them down in order, in three steps...that is-
torque each to so-and-so, then torque to so-and-so, then so-and-so.

Also make sure you use the silicone stuff at the crease points. I changed my valve cover gasket about a month ago (first time ever on any car) and followed the VFAQ to a T. I ran my finger around the edge of my valve cover yesterday and I had zero leaks, checked plug wells and the threads on my plugs and found zero oil there as well.
