so from what I am reading the AFX ECU will not be an upgrade for anybody that doesn't have access to at least 93 octane? wtf...I just moved to CA and have to deal with this crappy gas out here...I hope this thing can run with 91 octane.

I wouldn't run anything less than 93 octane on the AFX ECU. With it's crazy timing advance, you'll need the octane.....

Does the timing on this thing have to be advanced? What about running it with turbo?

Out here in CA the highest I've found is 91 octane. Think that would make much of a difference?

i know for turbo its a difference of a few psi of boost. like 93 octane for 9psi of boost, but with crappy 91 octane to be safe you should be at like 7psi of boost about. it does make a difference, maybe not alot but some...
