hey guys my girl went out and got a car the other day.... does anyone have anything available. it's a 03 with the 2.4 liter. i thing the dsm sticker on firewall said its a 4g64?? is that what they had in the gsx... could i use parts from the older gsx's maybe???

1gs were straight 4g63, 2gs were 2.0 turbo was the 4g63..... thegsx had the 2.4ltr... ithink it was 4g64

ok, to straigten this out.
1g's mostly had the 4g63 (2.0L, in turbo and non-turbo form)
2g's, non turbo's have the 420a 2.0L, turbo's have the 4g63 2.0L (this includes the GSX), the only one that had the 4g64 2.4L is the 2g SPYDER NON-TURBO. and there isn't crap for an aftermakert for it yet from what i've heard.

I'm gonna try and straighten this out.,

1g Non Turbo--4G63 DOHC 135hp
1g Turbo--4g63 DOHC 195hp

2g Non Turbo--420a DOHC 140hp
2g NT Spyder--4g64 SOHC 141hp
2g Turbo--4g63 DOHC 210hp

3G RS/GS------4g64 SOHC 147hp
3g GT/GTS-----6g72 SOHC 205/215hp

As far as modding the 4g64, it will offer about the same results as an OBD2 420a, but overall the car handles worse, is heavier, is uglier , and is about half a second slower in measured tests.You can buy Intake, header exhaust,(all the basic stuff.)
