In my opinion - don't waste money on headers - I here they aren't worth the money as a starter upgrade.

My top picks:
1. Underdrive pulley
2. Bigger Throttle Body (60MM!!)
3. Motor Mount Inserts
4. If your auto - final drive gears from stratus
5. If your stick - shorten the shifter and get a different shift kit (not sure what its called because I ain't a stick emoji )

If you plan to stay all-motor, then:

1. Howell Automotive remapped ECU
2. Cams
3. Adjustable cam gears
4. Bigger throttle body
5. Underdrive pulley

This is assuming that you are ruling out a turbo kit or nitrous setup.

if your staying all motor than your best bang for the buck would be a built bottom end.

tell me if i'm wrong on this someone but, i remember talk about a change of .1 in piston compression is worth about 10% more HP. in that case going from 9.7-10.5 would result in over 100hp increase. than anything you do on top of that would have a greater affect, including turbo.

in general the best bang for the dollar mods are the most expensive ones. e.g. turbo kit, built bottom end, cams, howell ECU, oversized TB

that doesn't seem right cause if you went from 9.6 to 12.5 that would put your engine at over 400hp. maybe 10% per 1.0 increase or something like that. so that would ad around 40 hp, it sounds more reasonable to me

Motor Mount inserts
Symborski Shift kit and shortened shifter if M/T
AFX UDP
Ported Intake Manifold and TB (phelonic spacer helps too)
CAI, catback
________________________________________________________________________________________

and the idea about .1 + in compression doesnot equal to 10% gain in hp.. i think it is 1 point in compression, like 9.6 --->10.6 would yeild 10% increase in hp...

Well Im different then a lot of people cause I like big jumps in what mods to do but:
1: Custom Quad TB setup- ~$400??(considered intake or no?)
2:Top-End kit with fairly agressive cams-$1000
3:UDP-$150?
4:AFX ECU-what are those? 400
5:Engine Mounts of some kind-??

In my mind thats a big increase in power there, just remember you need a header and exhaust for this to be good though and maybe some slight head porting and polishing.
