I would think that this would be the problem, but who knows...

Anyway, when shifting all gears now, it seems rougher than before. Not smooth at all. Like a slight grinding effect possibly.

Haven't checked fluids yet, but when I get more time next week once everything is over, I'm going to go through my car and check her all out.

manual transaxle = transmission, right? I checked chiltons and didn't find anything under transmission, just manual transaxle fluid replacement.

yeah manual tranaxle=transmission. Transaxle is a FWD transmission. Check you fluid b/c that is easiest. Look to make sure that your linkage is adjusted and not binding, thats another easy one. Chiltons will tell how-to. If it's not a problem there, I would think clutch. If you say that it does it in all gears, then the odds of all the blocking rings and dogteeth on every shaft is worn would be extremely odd. Sounds like a pressure plate prob. if it's not one of the other two easy checks.
