We just got done with my engine rebuild this week, and along with the new internals, i had a CM stage 3 modular clutch installed. is it normal for the clutch to be "noisy"? it only has 130 miles on it so far. it chatters on and off when i start the car, IF its cold..when the engine is warm it doesnt do it anymore. i wouldnt think its anything in the tranny.... it was perfectly fine before. also, we used to TO bearing that came with the CM clutch...would this cause the noise since im guessing it isnt the quality of the OEM one. thanks for any assistance.

wait and see if it goes away after a while of driving ceramic usually doesn't give so it could chatter from engine vibs till it is broke in..
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

Stage 3 is a carbon/kevlar mix for the friction material. Step 4 is ceramic. Doesn't help answer the question, but it might help others answer the question. -=B-=
