Hey guys when you rebuild your engine what all parts are you replacing? Is it just the rods and pistons? And by doing a rebuild does this help extend the life of the engine. Im asking this because my car is reaching high mileage and I want to do what ever I can to extend its life and help strengthen it.

When you replace the rods and pistons you also have to get a new head gasket and a whole lot more gaskets along the way. Be careful though cause I had my rebuilt by satan and it still isn't running right, MAJOR torque loss. You should look into buying a lower milage engine and see what you can get.

...is like starting from scratch - A ZERO mile engine. Just ask the turbo guys who've rebuilt their engines and upgraded the blocks. The engine is stronger and can withstand 3+ times more power
