Is the black wire on our front O2 sensor the ground wire? or signal wire? Thanks

black (solid)=heater ground
white-black=signal
black-red=signal ground
black-green=heater power

So, yes, black=ground.

Is that the same for the rear O2 sensor, cause i did this:
http://www2.cesa12.k12.wi.us/brent/personal/neon/pic/cat_resistor.html to my rear O2 sensor, any my cel is still on, i put the resistor on the black wire, is that correct?

The link doesn't work. The wiring is the same for the rear O2 sensor. Did you reset the ecu after you did the mod (you are talking about the CEL eliminator mod, right?). If you didn't reset the ecu yet, just disconnect the battery negative for about a minute.

the webpage say the Black wire is the signal wire, so that is where i put the resistor, but you are telling me the black is the ground, so i don't know.

so does anyone know which wire i should have tapped the resistor into? Black, or other color? What is the signal wire color for the rear 02? Thanks

remember that mod is for a neon, we probably don't have the same wire colors on the O2 sensor
