My car has a bad idle and misses heavily while under a load. I was messing around under the hood tonight and found that if i pull the pcv valve off at the intake manny, the car revs back up a little past normal, when i pull it off on the valve cover(other end of pcv valve), the car doesnt do anything..it just keeps the crappy idle. I cleaned the throttle body and intake manny with some carb spray, it turned my yard into a blue smoke palace. The crappy idle is still there. Could this be an egr thing? I really dont know much about it, but the car doesnt have a cel, it just idles crappy and hesitates under a load. Thanks

Sounds to me like you have bad spark plug wires.
