#36421, "Looking for some info on translab shift kit"

It's prolly been discussed before, but i did a search and got like 700+ msg's, even after narrowing it down quite a bit.

Anywho, I don't know a lot about them and was looking into getting one to increase the performance of my a/t rs.

Searched around a bit and couldn't find one for my exact transmission. I ordered the Final Gear Drive Kit yesterday, so I have found that the transmission is the A604/41TE. I keep finding the A604/41AE and others but never the exact one.

If someone who has the shift kit could point me to the place where they got theirs, that would be excellent. Any additional info about how difficult it is to install and what not would be helpful also.

TIA

sorry, found a bit of info in the newb section. delete if you wish, but any more info would be appreciated as the info there was kinda limited.

Exactly what modifcations would be needed to your transmission?

Any links to write-ups possibly? emoji
