Ok ive decided to go with the 2.2L from howell. Now witch compression would everyone recommend. I plan on adding a turbo to this car, but it will be way down the road. And i also have to drive this car everyday and using pump gas. 8.6 sounds like best choice. But to be honest, i just dont know enough about it to be guessing like this. Please tell me what you think. Im open to ideas.

For turbo and "easiest" tuning go with 8.6:1. Yes, you should be able to run the 2.2L with no or minimal reliability issues. Unless you're start running 15+ psi etc...

Why would the 2.2L become unreliable at 15+ psi? or were you talking about needing other things to boost that reliably.
Also 8.6 is the way to go for tuning ease when turbo. I do want to tell you though there is a 4-6 week lead time for them to build your block so be prepared for a little wait time, plus eagle rods are on back order so that may add a little extra time.
I edited to the wiki!

"talking about needing other things to boost that reliably." yes. I meant that when you get into the 15+ realm that things get real finicky and it's not really a situation where you can just drive around and not worry about it IMO.
