#36241, "motor mount replacement? (a bit long)"

Hey guys, to start off my REAR MOTOR MOUNT is trashed, its clanking and shit. i have a 96 w/110k miles. i took my car into the dealer to check it out and they said all four mounts (excluding my afx solid front MM) were worn out. I didnt even know we have 5 Motor mounts?
anyway, i think im going to just replace the rear with a new one and see what happens. by the way i own an auto tranny. also, i did a search but could not come up with instructions on how to install a REAR MOTOR MOUNT. does anyone have the info. thanks.

basically, u gotta remove the battery, battery tray, intake, and your windsheild washer fluid resevoir...

u will need a cuple feet of extensions, and a breaker bar...

really we have 5? Hmm there's the rear (that on the tranny and firewall), front under, drivers (under battery), and passenger (next to coolant reservoir). So wheres the 5th one. Haha my tranny feels like its not in all the way I think motormounts might be the problem, but my front and back ones are fine. I'm pretty sure the sides are also. Then again the rear a piece broke off of it.

here's my install for the motormount inserts, motormount would be the same thing I guess just put a different one. I suggest you get inserts, they're so cheap why not while its out.

Fill it with epoxy.

I guess I'm now going to be the idiot that keeps on sayin' to fill your mounts with epoxy. but I'm just so pleased with the results with mine.
