i was wondering if the cams from a 4g63 will work with the 420a, and if do, is it worth it? im looking to upgrade my cams a little, and had this question for you guys... any help is appreciated!!

No that wont work. Crane and Crower makes some good cams for the 420a. Good aftermarket cams should make a pretty good difference. Mine were good for somewhere around 20hp on the stock motor.

you can get specific ones for our cars from howellautomotive. they are a pretty good price. you can also get a top end kit for like 1k from them.

question:: do you ahve to replace cams if you're replacing cam gears? or can I just cam gears > cams from paycheck to paycheck?
