How many miles do you have on your Eclipse? My car had 117,000 when I had the engine rebuilt and my valve stem seals were in pretty bad shape so I had them replaced. They're not that expensive, and you might as well do it while you have the chance.

I'm not sure if you'll need different sized seals with your SS valves. I kept my stock valves. Are yours 1mm oversized? I'd call and check with the place you ordered the valves from to be sure on the seal size needed.
Also, just to let you know. My valve guides were shot as well, so I got new guides too. But then again, my car had A LOT more miles than yours and I was running NOS for over a year too. That might have had something to do with it. But it's something else to check when you tear the head off and take a look.

As long as the valves are made for your car they should have the same size stem or else you would have to just about all the valve components. even oversized valves should have the size stem. if the stems were larger that would cause more of an obstruction of flow through your ports.

I dunno where they got the valve stems from, but I think their machine shop had it. So I'm not sure if RRE carries the valve stems or not...if not, they could probably refer you to someone local with them...
