So I just got some work done to my transmission including a new 2nd gear synchro, and when I got it back I was so happy to be able to shift to second again. Now we have a problem, Squeak, Squeak, Squeak says the clutch, sounds like its comin from inside engine bay near tranny (WOW IMAGINE THAT). Anyone have any ideas/fixes, cuz I had my gf drive my car and I could hear it squeak from a hundred feet away, and its somewhat embarrassing now that I realize its there.

Its the clutch release cylinder. actually its where the release cylinder push rod connects to the release fork. it needs to be greased where they connect, also the boot. when you had your work done on the tranny they probably forgot to regrease it.
