I was advised to upgrade my rod bolts along with my stronger rods I'm getting. Mechanic told me the main bolts could use replacing as well.

I'm having problems finding fasteners for the 420a.... So far all I can find as far as fasteners go =

summit racing carries them u can get rod bolts main bolts head studs and exhaust studs

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

Use ARP fasteners. The part numbers you need are on the main page, i beleive. (under mods - performance). Upgraded rods (crowers, eagles too i believe) come with ARP bolts already.

We're not on ARP's application list, but people have found parts that work for us.

Main ARP bolts for 96 420A = 68.12
Rod Bolts for 96 420A = 42.99

...

Just emailed race engineering to find out if the rod bolts are included w/ the eagle rods...
